Post and Rail

The most traditional and classic type of fencing, used by many country houses and equestrian establishments across the country.

Posts should be mechanically driven into the ground to ensure a good solid structure followed by attaching between 2 and 5 rails depending on the type of livestock to be contained.

Good post and rail fencing can last for more than 15 years, is simple to repair and maintain and provides a smart visual appearance as well as providing a safe environment for your horse.

Treated FSC certified timber is used. We can supply creosote impregnated posts and rails which have a 30 year life expectancy.

Wire Netting For Horses

Specifically designed for horses, the mesh sizes are designed to reduce the risk of injury and have a smooth finish. If erected professionally horse net will outlast most fence options and requires very little maintenance.

Compared with other fencing, there is a saving on the amount of posts required and with the correct equipment it can be erected quickly, making it a very cost effective horse fence.

A timber rail on the fence top can be beneficial, but then post spacing’s have to be reduced and this adds to the cost. The best option to protect the top of the net is to add an electrified wire which can also power division fences. The net has an added advantage of being a stock fence suitable for most animals, keeping your livestock and dogs in and others out!!

It is difficult to climb over, so adds security to your property and stock. We can supply creosote impregnated posts and rails which have a 30 year life expectancy.

Electric Fencing

The most common options of materials are electric tape or rope mounted on wooden posts. Giving a cheap alternative to traditional post and rail fencing as we use several suppliers we have an open mind on products and their application so are happy to advise on different products.

Stock Fence

To create a good fence large straining posts and good supports are required at any severe change of direction. The fence is then tensioned onto these strain posts and requires specialised equipment to be able to tighten the net sufficiently.

Due to the strength of the high tensile fencing we construct strong straining structures to keep the wire tensioned. The fencing is never connected directly to gate posts as they would move and the gate would soon misalign.

The gap between the fence and gate post is filled using rails. This design ensures your stock fence will last for years with minimal maintenance.
